Something Blue - Shoes that Rock the Aisle

As we've discussed in previous posts, your "something blue" doesn't have to be the traditional garter. It can be your jewelry, your hair accessory or even your shoes. Shoes are a fun way to pop some color into your ensemble and then you can actually wear them again (I don't remember any time I've worn white bridal shoes aside from my destination wedding day).

When it comes to picking out shoes, one of my favorite spots is Zappos.com. You can choose by style, price, size, color, designer...the list goes on. Check out the adorable heels by Mochino in turquoise. Originally these beauties were selling for $499, but are currently on sale for $250 on Zappos.com
Does Vivienne Westwood make anything that doesn't totally rock? These "Lady Dragon" pumps are worth every penny of the $154 they cost.
Another more "bridal" looking option is "Gemma" by Betsey Johnson for $175. The soles are a bright pink, so your guests will see you coming and going!

For a really polished look or for cooler weather, these stunning peep-toe heels from Ted Baker (on sale for $202, were $375) will make sure eyes are all on you. Plus, after the wedding is over, these are perfect for a dinner out or a day at the office.
If you're still not convinced that blue shoes are for you, that's okay - there are so many amazing (and comfortable options) available in white. RSVP is one collection that's not only eye-catching, but also affordable ("Lily" shoes above are available in white satin for $89).
