Holly and Craig are from a small suburb of Ohio, but have traveled the world. When the couple got engaged they wanted to marry their love of wine with their love of travel. A destination wedding in Sonoma, California fit the bill perfectly.

Holly and Craig wanted an intimate feeling affair with only their closest friends and family. In the end, around 75 people made the trek from Midwestern America to the rolling hills of Sonoma.

The couple treated their guests to days of wine tastings and luxurious meals all over Sonoma. A traditional Catholic ceremony took place at St. Frances Solano Church just down the street from the reception site. The bridal party traveled between locations via the vineyard’s trolley.

Sebastiani Vineyards and Winery set the backdrop for the couple’s reception. The reception was held in an 80 foot long tasting room, with two long, beautiful tables running the length of the floor.
The wedding party ate and danced the night away surrounded by enormous oak wine barrels and dangling lights. The tasting room, while actually being quite large, provided the intimate and cozy setting the couple was looking for.

Wow! What a great place to do a wedding. I love the photographs.
ReplyDeleteI had the pleasure of working with Hollie and Craig as their wedding day coordinator, and the day was as beautiful in person as it looks in the pictures! Wine Country is the perfect place for destination weddings. Congratulations, you two!

A Dream Wedding
For the groom, the food and wine tasting is one of the most fun parts of the wedding plan. If you're planning on serving types of wine in addition to champagne, you may consider whites and reds.
ReplyDeleteIt’s flattering for everyone, can match almost any dress style and silhouette, and is low maintenance.
ReplyDeleteI am inspired to add a flyaway or 2 to my new collection :)
Great article!
The wedding reception, just like some Long Island catering halls is perfect for large crowd. I also like the cake because it's simple but classic.
